I can endure all these things through the power of the one who gives me strength. ~ Philippians 4:13
Why share my struggles & triumphs online?

RA sufferers, as well as others with systemic, chronic pain and immune system disorders often suffer silently. They don’t really look sick, although inside, their joints may feel like they are on fire. They appear to be normal for their ages, but cannot do everything they used to.
Instead of compassion for the exhaustion however, many are called lazy.
It is an endless cycle of pain, exercise, lack of sleep, daily naps, medications that make us feel sick, prevent us from keeping up with our families and housework (which can be stressful), and being treated by many who say it is “all in your head.”
My posts here will help others to “walk a moment in my shoes” while encouraging other chronic pain sufferers as well. I pray my words can be a blessing to all. 🙂

Hi Alicia,
It’s wonderful that you are using your talents, as well as your struggles with a chronically painful disorder, to encourage others who also suffer from chronic pain! I do applaud you for that!
Recently, I received a Pingback from your blog, so I thought I would come over to check your blog out. I suffer from a chronically painful and debilitating neurological syndrome, Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy Syndrome/RSD. This syndrome has literally turned my life upside down, and inside out! It is because of how my life has changed so drastically, that I find myself blogging today. Although I write mostly about Christianity, I strive to bring about awareness of this devastating syndrome! In addition to the article that is linked to your article, I thought about another article I shared a while ago. I’m sure you will be able to relate to the information shared. Keep up the great work, and God bless you!

Thank you so much for taking the time to check me out. 🙂 RA turned my life upside down and inside out as well, but there are things that I have learned since my diagnosis that I might not have learned otherwise. It is all part of God’s plan. I don’t know much about RSD, but I have a feeling I will love reading your post you shared here, as well as those in the future. God bless you and I will keep you in my prayers.
